HTC Butterfly S Reviews : Specs, Advantages and Disadvantages

The HTC Butterfly S comes across as an oddball in HTC’s 2013 device lineup. The company has taken last year’s industrial design of the Butterfly and most of the One’s unique hardware and software features and created another high-end Android smartphone that seemingly threatens the flagship status of the One. With a quad-core 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU under the hood, a 3200mAh battery and a 5-inch 1080p SLCD3 display, the Butterfly S is very much a powerhouse.

  • Powerful performance with quad core Krait processor with 2GB RAM.
  • Good camera performance
Disadvantages of HTC Butterfly S :
  • No 4G and NFC connectivity. Though currently 4G is not widely available in India, being priced so heavily, having 4G is a better option.
  • Non Replaceable battery. This makes you to stick on to the built in battery and you should carry a charging options. You cannot use a backup battery.
  • Awkward placement of the power/screen lock key
  • The price of the device is too premium. Though the device has very good specifications, considering the availability of other same config phones, price looks heavy.
